Langdon R.I.P.

Langdon 4/22/15 – 9/13/23

Leadhill’s Langdon Jones left his earthly life Sept. 13th, 2023 with his wonderful Whetstone Vet family by his side.

Langdon has been a part of our family since he was 3 days old. Him & his littermates came to us from Langdon Labs 4/25/15 when his Momma passed away shortly after giving birth. Our beloved Hollie took them in & fostered them until they were 8 weeks old & on their own. We chose Langdon to stay in our family & he sure was a good one!

In Langdon’s spare time he loved to fetch anything we would throw, loved naps, I watched him watch the sunset often, & he absolutely chewed & ate everything in sight. When he was younger he chewed through a 2×4 before we even knew what was going on. He continued that until it unfortunately got the best of him… This last time Dr. Cody found rubber gloves, a towel, & plastic. We thought he would be okay, then he coded & couldn’t recover. It didn’t matter if he was inside, outside, kenneled, crated, that silly guy would find something. He was so darn sneaky too. Very good Boy, just that toxic trait.

Last week we had a couple young men here doing some repair work & Langdon ate a sandwich right off the tailgate of their pickup. Poor guy didn’t get to eat but Langdon did! Langdon hung out with them most the day just waiting to catch them off guard again.

Langdon had several nicknames…. Langdon, Jughead, Goofball, Big Guy, Turd quit eating that, & many more.

Langdon is preceded in death by Brother; Harlie, Sisters; Laverne, Shirley, Daisy, Hollie, & Maddie, & a beloved pet parrot, Mason.

Langdon is survived by several Brothers, several Sisters, Kids, Grandkids, Nieces, Nephews, Human Family & Friends.

Leadhill Labs will not be the same without Langdon. It’s actually going to be a bit boring around here without him.

A memorial for Langdon will be set at a later date with Human Brother Evan officiating.

Our hearts are so broken! I like to picture him eating everything he can without hurting his belly & loving every minute of it!

R.I.P. JugHead! You are one of the originals! You will be thought of often, talked about alot, & missed so much! Leadhill Labs cannot be the same without ya!
