Holli-3

🕊️🌈🐾Oh sweet Hollie🐾🌈🕊️

Leadhill’s Hollie Jones passed away peacefully Friday, July 14th with caregivers by her side after a short battle with untreatable sarcoma. Hollie lived a great life! Her & the love of her life, Harlie, are the ones that started the Leadhill family at their young ages of 8 weeks old. The little firecrackers that they were then turned out to be the BEST dogs later.

In Hollie’s free time she enjoyed taking naps & being around her Human family. Hollie loved the outdoors! We often referred to her as our ‘farm dog’. For those of you that have visited us she more than likely touched you with her paw as a way to let you know she needed attention, meaning a good belly rub.

Hollie ran a pretty tight ship around here. She kept all others in line, no one would mess with Hollie. At dinner time Hollie would eat slower than the others, she enjoyed taking her time & sometimes saving her food for later. She would sit by her bowl for hours & not a single animal would go near her to try to eat her food.

In Hollie’s younger days she enjoyed car rides, long walks, & she could chase down a squirrel- actually pretty impressive, but after a bit we made corrections. We like squirrels too.

Hollie had several nicknames around here… Hollie, Hollie Polly Pocket, Sweet Hollie, OH MY Hollie Jolly girl, the list could go on & on. We like to believe she loved each & every name & she knew how much she was loved.

Hollie is preceded in death by the love of her life, Harlie, Sisters; Laverne, Shirley, & Daisy, & a beloved pet parrot, Mason.

Hollie is survived by several Brothers, several Sisters, Kids, Grandkids, Great Grandkids, Human Family & Friends.

Leadhill Labs will not be the same without Hollie. We have come home to her every day for lots of years, she will be very missed!

A memorial for Hollie will be set at a later date with Human Brother Evan officiating.

Our hearts are broken but we understand it was Hollie’s time to go! We got many, many years with her that we are so thankful for!

R.I.P. Hollie Polly Pocket,, we got it from here! You will be thought of, talked about for years to come & so missed!
